6 Clubs, 2 Days, 600 Targets!

ALL SHOOTERS WELCOME!

What is the Colorado’s Toughest 6-2-6?

  • The full 6-2-6 is an ironman competition, shooting at 6 different clubs over 2 days and shooting 600 targets.
  • HOWEVER! you do not have to shoot all 600 targets.  Each club’s 100 target events are scored separately and punches are awarded at each club.  That means if you can only shoot one day on the weekend or only can sneak out for one club – you can get out and shoot!  You still need to go register on ScoreChaser, just choose the individual club that you want to shoot at and choose a start time.
  • The clubs are broken into a north loop, shot Saturday and into a southern loop, shot Sunday.  Shoot times at each club are 8:00am, 11:30am and 3:00pm.  If you are shooting less than 600 targets or not travelling with a squad from range to range, it is good practice to arrive at least 30 minutes early for the 11:30 rotation and an hour early for the afternoon rotation.  Squads coming from other ranges tend to run a little early, and if the clubs are ready, you may end up starting early.

Event Details:

  • WHEN: Saturday, May 1st and Sunday

  • WHERE:
    • North Loop – Colorado Clays, Great Guns, Longmeadow
    • South Loop – Pikes Peak, Silver Creek, Kiowa Creek
  • So why shoot all 600?  Prize money is only awarded across the final standings of the 600 targets shot.  There is a discount per club for shooters shooting all 600 targets while being a great test of your focus with a lot of driving and shooting throughout the weekend.  Of course, it is also a ton of fun!!
